NTPC Nava Raipur celebrates World Environment Day with Pledge and Tree Plantation under the campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”

NTPC Nava Raipur celebrated World Environment Day on June 05, 2026 with holding of Pledge and large scale plantation activities under the campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”. Led by Shri Neeraj Jalota, Regional Executive Director (WR-II) and ED-USSC, NTPC Nava Raipur, the program witnessed participation of employees in large numbers.

Earlier, Shri Ram Bhajan Malik, Executive Director (Ash New Initiatives) and Shri Neeraj Jalota administered the environment pledge to all the participants in Hindi and English respectively. Later, all employees joined at the Mass Tree Plantation program held near the office premises under the campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”. Shri B N Jha, Executive Director (Operations Services); Chief General Managers, General Managers and other employees participated in the event. The occasion also marked with distribution sapling among all employees.
