Foundation day of Unified Shared Service Centre (USSC) was celebrated enthusiastically at NTPC Nava Raipur on June 15, 2026. Since its inception in 2021, NTPC USSC serves as a centralized hub that consolidates critical business functions—ranging from complex procurement and contracting to vendor management and service delivery.
Inaugurating the program, Shri Neeraj Jalota, RED (WR-II) & ED-USSC underlined the significant contribution of USSC in NTPC’s journey for excellence. “Over the last five years, USSC has demonstrated exceptional resilience and stood as strong pillar in supporting the strategic and operational objective of NTPC,” he said, adding “Exceptional growth in GEM procurement; increase in Active Rate Contract & Enlistment and Expansion of Vendor base are to name a few which truly reflected USSC’s progress”. He further asked all realign USSC’s function in line with company’s futuristic vision by integrating Digital and IT besides expanding Rate contract and Vendor enlistments. On this occasion, dignitaries presented Certificate of Appreciation to 40 USSC employees for their outstanding performance. The celebration marked with Ceremonial Cake Cutting followed by in-house skeet and Cultural program which enthralled all. Shri Ram Bhajan Malik, ED (Ash Mgmt & NI); Shri Bidya Nand Jha, ED (Operation Services); Shri Harsh Ahuja, ED (USSC C&M) and other employees were present on the occasion.
